I have an RCA TV. I have hooked up a dvd player. The movie plays but while it plays the screen is split into two pictures and in the middle of the screen is reads "P-SCAN!" in Large neon green letters. I am unable to remove these letters and make the screen into one. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks! (I am usually pretty good at these things but this has me stumped!)

how is it? is it worth the money? wat are the difffernet sizes? wat are the different colors? are the prices the same as itunes for songs and music vidoes? can you get podcasts, movies, music videos, etc like itunes? is it better than the ipod?

there is a USB connection for your pc that gives off a small WIFI signal so you can play ds online via WIFI, Technically speaking could this also work for the PSP?

My problem is that, I can't get the power socket into the back without having to wobble it around or putting alot of weight on it, I really feel like I'm damaging it and what annoy's me more is that it's the slim line PS2.

I just got an iPod. I've downloaded songs from CD to my iPod. Where are these songs now stored? On my hard drive or on iTunes? I want to make sure that if I trade in my CDs and get a new computer, these songs will still be available through my iTunes account and not my hard drive. Can someone confirm where songs downloaded from CD are stored?

I want to buy component cables for my standard TV because its the biggest in my house but only has AV Standard ports to plug in. I want to play my games in High Def but I need component ports is there something I can buy to plug into there like a converter to give my tv component output ports?

Ok, got my psp on christmas, great, Ok, plugged my headphones in it, and then, a piece of the jack got stuck inside the thing that I plug it into. But then I took it apart, figured out that I couldn't get It out that way. Then I put it back together and turned it on, and OMG!!!, The screen got cracked on the bottom right corner!!! What in the World should I do???



Oh, and I got the little piece out, with a cracked screen!

Which Upconverting DVD player should I buy?

Since I'm completly not interested in buying an HD-DVD player or a Blu-Ray player until the prices come down and their is a clearer winner between to the two, I need an upconverting DVD player.

Im deciding between:
Philips DVP5960
Samsung DVD HD860 (the HD 960 is more money but does it play more files?)
Sony DVP-NS75H
(You can mention/recommend another if you like)

I've got a 42 inch plasma that does a beautiful 1080i picture and I'm LOOKING for the unit that has the best picture quality but can play burned DVD-Rs/DVD+Rs the best.

I'll hook it up through HDMI with HDMI cables I got from monoprice.com (I refuse to buy Monster cables for those prices).

If anyone has one of these players or has another than please, by all means say something.

I recently purchased a plasma screen TV. I have it hooked up with Cogeco Digital Cable (HD), and a surround sound system. When watching DVDs that don't fill the screen, or some channels with Digital Cable, there is a line either on the top or right of the screen (where the picture ends). It's distracting when watching a movie, and I'm curious if there's a way to fix this. The line is pink or white, and is part of the actual picture, it is dashed (- - - - - - -) and extends across the entire picture.

When I try to register my serial number on the Nintendo website, I keep getting a message that its an invalid number. Does anyone have a clue why or where I can verify which number is the serial number? I purchased this system brand-new in an unopen box, so I don't suspect foul play here.
