I would check out Circuit City's website, and see the price differences and the memory capacities of each. I have a Sansa brand 2 megabyte (I think?) mp3 player, which I bought on Black Friday after standing in line for three hours until CC opened at 5. I like it, and I bought it for around $70, but I think the normal price is somewhere just under $100. I'd get one that has radio capacity, and enough memory to store 300+ songs, but if your Dad doesn't need something with a radio or a lot of memory, you could get one at Target or another chain store for under $60.
