Can i buy something to make my AV ports on my TV into component ports?

I want to buy component cables for my standard TV because its the biggest in my house but only has AV Standard ports to plug in. I want to play my games in High Def but I need component ports is there something I can buy to plug into there like a converter to give my tv component output ports?

Sorry to dissapoint you but component cables will not make your TV a HDTV. No matter what cables you use, your TV will always display in SD. If your TV has S-video inputs, use S-Video cables.
