help!!!! i being having problems when i use dvd+(it wont play in all dvd players ) and i havent tried dvd- does anybody know which one works better or brand thanks...

The + and - are actually just two different formats. The plus was originally more common in computers and the dash is more common in standalone players. While many newer dvd players will play both, the dvd-r is most likely the best way to go.

it depends on the type of media ur using sometimes u get a pack od dvd+r's and they can be defective i use maxell and mine were defective i heard sony or verbatim were were pretty good media to buy and it really helps out and it all depnds on the dvd burner u have some arent compatible with some types or try to see if u can get some type of firmware for your burner ... dont use dvd+r use dvd+rws or cd-rws

the dvd you are trying to play them in probably don' reas home recorded movies. I have used both and have had no problems, sorry maybe it is the brand you use?

+ usually works in most to my observation. Get a burner that b urns either.

i was told the + or - refers to compatibility to older or newer players
