I can access my iTunes library, but my iPod's library (inculding music, TV shows, movies, etc.) is locked. The text is all gray and there is a small locked icon on the bottom of the screen next to the amount of storage I have left. The only way I can get anything onto my iPod is to sync everything with the iTunes library and I would like to manually do this. If I deselect the "sync music" box in my iPods menu it deletes everything and then I can't manually add any files. Please help.

I've a son(11yrs old)who has been sick since he was 3yrs old and there is no cure for his illness.He spent most of his time in the hospital.About 4 months ago my son asked me if he could have a Mp3 player cos he likes music alot.I've had managed to save up abt $350 but I really hv no idea how and where can i download songs for him as this will help him kill time inthe hospital.My wife left us and I hv to work to make ends meet.Anyway, can anyone be kind enough to tell me how to get songs into the player from the computer.How should i go about it ..Many thanks to all

i am using benq-siemens e61 right now and i meet a lot of problems:
1. i can't download any games to this phone
2. the cam is so bad
3. etc

i want a new phone:
1. java service
2. cam at least 1.3mp
3. no symbian
3. if possible, using mini sd with capasity at least 1gb

im not looking for online play...and already have a ps2...which i dont use anymore....so which would make more sense..?...gettin a xbox for a tottally different range of games..or a psp because its portable..??

-Just started happening

-DVD player is 4 years old

-happens every time with any disc

-already tried resetting it

-called Pioneer (the manufacturer), and they said there is nothing else to be done except to take it to an authorized service center.

-don't want to pay $75 to get it fixed

A little while ago I added a few songs to my iPod Shuffler (generation 1) and didn't use the autofill because I forgot to check the box. Now, sitting here listening to it, half of my songs are missing. Should I plug it into the USB port and use the autofill?

And after I download a song and transfer it to my iPod, do I have to leave the song on my computer or can I delete it? Maybe that's where I went wrong; I had a few songs on my computer and deleted them once I was done, and now they're missing from my iPod.

Sorry if that's not clear enough. I'm extremely new to iTunes/Ipods.
