i'd buy the wii, it won't be redesigned within a couple of years. everytime you turn around apple invents a new freaking ipod, which causes people to dump the old and purchase the new. do the wii, man, the wii.

If you get a cheaper iPod (like a shuffle or a 1st Generation Nano), you won't pay all of that $250, then you can use the rest of the money as a base to keep saving up for a wii.
I would personally get an iPod mini.

I just got an 80gb ipod and i love it though i dont have much songs well thinks about what is going to be more useful if you are always on the go like me then buy the ipod but it are home a lot of the times then buy the wii

OMG dont get the iPOD they are so overrated all they do is play music. just faucking get a lower priced mp3 if you want that. The Wii is so much more fun. You can upload photos and fool around with them, go on the internet, and play interactive games with your family and friends. Watch next month their gonna come out with the iPOD3000 and the 3 months later another iPOD. your gonna end up losing a lot of money.

Wii. It is alot better than a Ipod. You can put ur pictures on there an doodle on them and the games are also really fun.with an Ipod all you can do is listen to music anywhere you want to.

A Wii for sure. It is a blast. Even my 89 yr old grandmother was having fun playing it. Finally after the terrible GameCube, Nintendo is winning the system wars/

i hope you have a little more than 250 because with tax it's gonna run you around 280, oh and there's no chace of you getting the wii anytime soon most especially for 250.

If you like music better, the iPod. If you like video games better, the Wii. Wiis really do sound awesome and I think iPods are overrated. You'll probably have better luck getting the iPod though.

Go with the Ipod, it'd be cheaper in the longer run since you don't have to buy any thing extra, with the wii you'd have to buy games and what not.
