cause I accedently shuted the top lid and the power light blinkig.
but it was not on.
why?

it had to have been on - or else the power light would not blink - perhaps it was in sleep mode
when the unit is on, and you shut it, it's supposed to go into sleep mode. that is, for most, if not all games, it pauses
when the unit is off and you shut it, nothing happens

It goes into sleep mode, and the light blinks to let you know, and lets you know how much battery you have left

It'll go out (if you wait long enough).

it hibernates
or sleeps whatever your computer calls it
it means it is temporaraly off until you flip it up
