my ipod is frozen I hook it up to the computer and it still is frozen

Take it to an Apple store and see if they can fix it.

There should be able to press the menu and play button at the same time for 5 seconds or so and It will reset itself. If that doesn't help I'm afraid you may have to take it in.

Flip the hold switch then Hold down the play button and the center button at the same time

ok i do this when my gets frozen.
1. turn hold on and then switch hold off quicklly
2. hold the pause button ans the center button for 8 seconds or untill it turns off
3. done!

Try connecting it to a computer.
