I installed limewire and now I have no sound!?

Can someone help me? I'm so irrated right now, b/c i had to install it a few times to finially get it to work. And now I have no sound! So PLEASE!!! Can someone help me?

Well, I've never used it before, but I've heard that it can cause viruses, so maybe that's what happened.
