I plan on buying a dSLR this holiday season, and I've narrowed down my choices to the Canon Digital Rebel XT and the Nikon D50 based on price and availability. Which should I get? Are there any better choices I should consider under $700?

ok i got my ipod for christmas and i figured how to put all my songs on it and all but everytime i put new songs on it it deletes the songs i had on before like i would of had 100 or more but now i got 34 songs and i dont no why it does that........i delete the songs out of the itunes library after i put them on my ipod........is that why my songs are gone?............please help this is so confusing!!!

Is there such a place where I can buy ringtones for my tracfone or any phone for that matter, where I can pay for them with money orders rather than a credit card, I know that a lot of sites gaurentee safety and security, but Im still hesitant to sign up for them, I fell a lot safer using money orders for stuff like that.

I have just plugged the set in and it auto installed ok, but the picture is wishy / washey, I have tried to adjust the colour/ contrast etc, but it is still not wright.
The old 14" tv has a better picture. I GIVE UP. CAN ANYONE HELP PLEASE.

I'm tryin to connect a DV-R to my tv but my TV only has dvi. I have a HDMI cable and a hdmi to dvi adaptor that I want to use. My question is I believe dvi is video only so what would be the best way to get sound. From optical?

I have music in all diferent formats on a few different computers - all ripped from cds. I want to get it all into as few formats as possible (2?) and all on my deskto pc. Now it's on my desktop pc(1900 in windows media player and 1700 in itunes), my laptop (50 in windows media player and 3700 in itunes) and my external drive (800 non itunes and 3000 itunes - these are all backups, so i guess i should erase all these and do another back up once i have a nice organized collection). We have 4 devices in our family...1 ipod, 2 rios, and a creative 512 mb, so i guess i have to keep at least 2 players...i'm thinking itunes and windows media player. i know i need aac for the ipod and what's best for the other 3 players (highest quality is not important...they all belong to kids under 18)? Can i just copy everything to my desktop pc and it will automatically not copy the duplicates? and can i get all my aac files into windows media player and keep those 2 folders synced?

I know either has its advantages and disadvantages. But one of Plasma's disadvantage is reflection of bright objects like ceiling light, oposite windows etc. Does the reflection effect the visual a lot?

I have a Vistron VIS026P 26" Widescreen LCD TV that I have plugged my Media Centre PC into via it's VGA socket. This is not an HD television, but it is reported to go up to resolutions of 1360x768.

I am able to reach that resolution at 60hz (with the TV set to 16:9 ratio), but I am getting some picture distortion that results in text looking occasionally blurred and broken up horizontally. At 1280x768 the image is similar to the above, and also at 1280x720 (which bizarrely is what the TV manual says it can reach)

However, at 1024x768 (with the TV set to 4:3 ratio) the image is perfect with clean and crisp text.

Does anybody have any idea what settings I need to change to get the image/text quality as good at the highest resolution? My old 19" LCD monitor had an 'Auto' button that sets the screen to the the correct timing and horizontal/vertical size, but this TV does not.

My PC has an nVidia 7600GT graphics card and I am using the latest official Forceware drivers (93.71).

I can only see my iPod recharging when it's being updated and then it isn't it kind of just shuts it self off. I turned the sleep off and still I don't see the battery recharging itself.
