I can only see my iPod recharging when it's being updated and then it isn't it kind of just shuts it self off. I turned the sleep off and still I don't see the battery recharging itself.

O I got my MP3 Player A few days ago and I had the same shutting off problem, and did the same thing you did at first: turn the sleep off. What you actually have is make sure the backlight is on and it is not set to turn off in, for example 15 seconds. I don't have an Ipod, so i don't know how to set the backlight to be on all the time, so check the Ipod manual. And all computers have USB ports, and most of them are 2.0. I have one at the front of my computer, and about 6 at the back. Check your computer manual for more info.
