Bought one at Argos - 32" Acoustic Solutions LCD TV for £499
Wasn't too sure about it until I found out that it is exactly the same as the JVC model on sale on the high street for £799.
Good resolution, clear picture, good contrast ratio. All in all a good TV and the picture is actually better than my brother in laws top of the range Philips that cost him £1400.

For a 32" LCD TV, you would be looking at a $1000-$2499 price range. You should go with Sony hands down. Their new Bravia series with XBR2 engines work wonders.

Go with the olevia 532h.. I have the olevia 537h and this set is awesome. Olevia is made by Syntax. Great quality and fricken cheap. Look for it to drop in price between $550 & $650.. Check tigerdirect.com, newegg.com, pcconnection.com, and even target.com.. Google the olevia 537h and check out its reviews.. I got mine on black friday from tigerdirect.com.. After the rebates and my credit card rebate and shipping, my set (537h) cost me less than $700.. Just check out the Olevias.........

Always go with a Brand that you have heard of and is trusted. Sony, RCA, etc..They all offer good tv's. Don't get the cheapest one because it's the cheapest. Always get something mid-range or higher.
