Does anyone know where I can purchase replacement "euro" plugs? My local electronics store recently discontinued them and nobody else in town seems to sell them. Of course, any source will need to accept mail order, internet, or telephone orders.

Details: This is the small two-prong ungrounded male AC power plug connector used in low-power consumer electronics throughout Europe. In Germany, these are often called "Schuko" plugs.

Notice I want the plug itself, not an adapter or replacement power cord. I intend to snip off the existing plug from a cord (attached to items purchased in other countries, for example) and replace it with this plug in a semi-permanent installation. The type of electrical connection is unimportant (crimp, solder, or screw).

This tv is about 10 years old, which I would ilke to repair.
I replaced several parts, horizontal output driver and transistor, SCR for switching power supply, some diodes, several capacitors in the power supply circuit.
Originally fuse was burning out. Now it is continuously clicking which seems to be coming from flyback transformer.
When I check the voltage at the output of scr it is fluctuating between 85vdc and 150vdc.
A friend of mine tells me flyback transformer needs replacement.
I checked all the resistance readings on its windings with a special ohms meter, they all seems to be as indicated in the service manual.
Obviously there are no oscillations and therefore no low volatge dc outputs. No high voltage output either.
I believe flyback transformer needs air gap adjustment by using two plastic adjustment screws, so I can get oscillations, and then voltage outputs.
I have the sam photofact service manual.
I would appreciate any thoughts.

I just got a new cell phone from Verizon recently. Within the 1st week, I noticed that the battery was not holding a charge at all! Literally I could have a 15 minute conversation and it would die. I took the phone to Verizon today and they told me that I had overcharged the battery. I told them that that's impossible as all new phones (within the past few years) have systems built in to specifically keep the battery from being overcharged. They still maintained that the battery was overcharged and I can't leave the phone plugged in overnight. I countered that that was the dumbest and the biggest lie I have ever been told by someone selling me an electronic product. They gave me a new battery and told me not to overcharge it again. If the user was at fault, why would they give me a new battery?

Since when can you "overcharge" a cell phone battery? Who is right?

i want to connect a vcr to my tv. it's a symphonic st4813 tv (about 6-8 years old), and it only has one antenna connection thing in the back. if i want to connect a vcr to the tv to record something ON tv, is there some sort of adaptor i need to buy? i've already checked the manual for the tv, and it says nothing about connecting the tv to a vcr/dvd player. only connecting it to the antenna in the house. thanks.

So, I havne't been playing much, but I'm finaly getting around to it. (Hey! Epic is wasted if you're not in the right frame of mind!)

I am using a TDK DVD-RW. When I'm done recording I finalize the DVD. When I place the DVD in the 2nd DVD player it just gives me an error message. My 2nd dvd player is a samsung. Both DVD players are brand new. What am I doing wrong?
