It's the newer type. I know you can't use just any chemical on them. I tired just a damp rag and it's not working. HELP! MY 3 year old went crazy with the crayon!

Use warm peanut oil. Baby oil will also work but not as well if you use it also warm it up. Don't use toothpaste, WD40 or any of those other suggestions that just crazy talk.

using oil-based cleaners will leave a dark mark on the screen. elbow grease and baby wipes here. windex is a safe tv cleaner, but spray the towel, not the tv. Washable crayons are much eeasier to get off if needed...stock up on those

baby oil or WD40. The oil softens the wax. It worked for the person in the thread referenced in the source.
