i have a few old electronics and a guitar amp that run on tubes
where in the indianapolis / shelbyville area can i buy replacements. i know i should get a transistor or intergated circuit version of these electronics, but i believe tubes create higher quality audio

I bought an EDTV television and its nice, but is HD really better? Furthermore, this may sound dumb but if I had an HDTV, would I have to pay for that extra cable box for HD or is it just intrinsically better? Thank you in advance...

I'm looking for a simple gadget that has three buttons and one LED. When the LED blinks, there's a message, and you press the Play button to hear it. To delete the message you press the Delete button. To record a new message you press the Record button, hear a tone, speak into the gadget, and press Record again when you've finished.

I don't need a length indicator, mailboxes, or anything like that. Something simple that my elderly parents can use.

My VCR does not have S-Video output, and I don't care about playing tapes. My Receiver does not support S-Video and Composite Video to be used at the same time for different sources. So I must use all S-vid or all Composite. I want something to use for my cable decoding (not digital) and run out the S-vid.

My son decided to clean the TV and sprayed windex into the buttons on the front panel. this is a Sony Wega Trinitron. Now when i turn on the TV it is stuck on Video1, you cannot use the remote now, and when you try to press the buttons, it goes right back to Video1... is there some way to clean this, or should i just let it dry? Please Help!!!
