what does that mean is it save to use can i fix it

We had the same problem with our stove and when ithappened to us we couldn't use the oven...It wouldn't turn on. We had to have it fixed 2 in the same year. We had to call American to come and fix it. In our area they were the only ones that could fix it. They had to order the part and it took forever.

If you want to try to find out what the problem is before calling for a service man, you can try to go to Magic Chef's web site. Go to the contact area. Then go down to request a manual. You can get it in pdf format. You will need your model number. Once the manuel comes up then look on the troubleshooting pages. It may explain what is going on.
Or you can always call repair man first.
