You need to find out what the peak and off peak hours are. The people on here are talking about their service times and yours could be completely different. My off peak time is 9pm until 6am, but not all providers have the same exact peak time. Call your provider or read your entire contract to find out. But off peak means that whatever time frame they are referring to is discounted, free, or whatever. Some will say that you have free offpeak minutes, find out what your offpeak times are and thats when your free minutes begin and end. Read the ENTIRE contract for specifics.

Off peak is all weekend and public Holidays too. While during the week, its normally anytime from 6pm-8am.
My off peak with T-Mobile is 7pm-7am, but I know some people's who start at 6pm.

Peak hours are when there are more people using the cell phone system. Off Peak are those hours that fewer people us the system.
Because cell phone companies have to pay electricity and to use phone lines they charge more when the usage is higher to discourage use during those hours. Some utilities also charge higher rates for that time as well.
These charges and hour vary by cell company so to save some money check out all of them to get your best deal.

Depnding on the service, off peak hours are from either 9pm-6am or 7pm-7am. During these times, and often on weekends, your minutes are free or a reduced price, but check with your service provider for more details.

All depends on the network. Orange class their off peak as; 7pm - 7am Mon - Fri, 7pm Fri - 7am Mon, and certain Bank Holidays. Best bet is to just give them a ring and ask.

It depends on your service but "Off Peak" minutes are those that are free on your contract. With Verizon Wireless, they are called your evening/weekend minutes and they are unlimited.
"Peak" minutes are those that occur during the most optimum talking hours of the day -- the "peak" time of the day. : )
