sky + is absolutely splendid. the programmes on the sky channels however are quite dismal, if they could improve to the standard of bbc1 or itv1 ( pre the xfactor or love island all night lack of imagination phase we are in now ) then that would be great. but i am afraid that they will probably always have too much american content and go for lowest common denominator with their uk produced programmes

Bit disillusioned with it at the moment, are paying £18 a month for the entertainment, discovery, music and kids package but would really like the movies but cannot afford them. Also, as my hubby and I both work through the day we would really like Sky to offer 'pay per view' for the channels in the evening, perhaps from 5pm - 11pm, howver, when we did have the full package from 1994 - 2001 we ended up watching the same movies again and again as they seemed to be on several times a week, I lost count of how many times we watched 'Speed', and I noticed recently that 'Speed ' has been on the current Sky movie evening viewing, so it seems that they haven't changed their films that much over the years.

Sky+ is a gem (if you remember to set it), although I dont know about 'it's your own TV channel'

An actual channel of all the programmes you like all day everyday would be nice. And a channel for American programmes that shows them as they are shown in America...not 3 years later!

To go back in the planner to see what you've missed.

and while watching a program to be able to use the arrow keys on the remote to go through what's on next AND be able to press the "i" button at the same time

I don't like anything about it. It costs money and is responsible for ugly aeriels on our buildings. If people hadn't been conned into subscribing, we would be getting all their progs now on terrestrial channels.
