Can you d/l songs off limewire (put them in your itunes library)and transfer them to an iPOD nano, or do you have to buy them off of iTUNES??

Yes you can you just have to let Itunes convert them to Mp4's I usually select add a folder from the itunes file list then select the folder of songs you want to add and Itunes will load them into your library.

You will have to download a video converter that converts music videos to mp4 format, which is the correct format for video ipods. Go to www.videora.com and download a free video converter called Videora. Use this program to convert this program and open up your CONVERTED video in iTunes and update your ipod. yes, you can do that, you might have to put them on a blank disc and the to your itunes. but there might be an easier way.
