If u forgot to unplug it and left for work does it shut off automatically There is no on/off switch just a plugin

Whenever I burn my pictures onto a CD so I can show people a slideshow they jumble up into a random order when played on the DVD/TV. It doesn't matter if I name them xxx.1, xxxx.2, xxxx3 etc. They still don't come out in the same order I burnt them. This is really annoying as all my pictures are then not in chronological order. Any ideas what is going on?

How do you fix this? I hear it is the horizontal control module thingy and is supposed to be a heatsink like device. I want to resodder it to get the TV working but don't know what the unit is. The TV is a JVC C-20WL5 US2 version.

The TV picture is very nice looking when it works. It works once it first starts then flickers and turns into a line. You hit it on the side and then it works for a few seconds. Audio is fine.

Although it pales in comparison to Once were Warriors, I still fins the sequel "What Becomes of the Broken Hearted" highly entertaining. However, I am unable to find a DVD copy that plays in US players, all of them are region 2 and 4. Also I don't have a VCR nor do I wish to purchase one so the VHS version is out as well. Where can I find a copy of this DVD? If that's not possible, where can I get it transferred from one format to the other without paying a lot of $$$?

I know you have to hold down a series of buttons, but haven't been able to get the right combination. The power turns on for about 2 seconds, then shuts iteself off.

ok i currently have a verizon wireless cell phone. about 2 years ago, our family had at&t wireless [which is now cingular, i think]

I want to buy a 32" LCD for our bedroom. However, we will not have an HDTV cable box in that room and therefore will be watching lots of basic cable.

I just bought a new cable TV for my apartment in the university residence. When I get it plugged in and set to cable (not air) there are really bad ghosts on most (not all) of the channels. I don't have a car so I can't drag the TV all the way back to the store- what could I do to fix this problem? Would an antenna help get the picture clearer?
