If u forgot to unplug it and left for work does it shut off automatically There is no on/off switch just a plugin

Most except for the VERY early ones contain a saftey auto-shutoff system, but even if it didnt, your likely just either going to fry the appliance by leaving it on so long, or your going to get a really hot grill, or maybe the left over food items on the grill would smoke. Unless you left a bunch of rags around it, theres very little chance of a real fire.

Maybe you should call your next door neighbor and ask them to sniff around your kitchen window just to be sure. Or the police or fire department.
