What is the -D4 mean in JL Audio SUBs W6v2-D4?

I see some of these subs advertised as just 12w6v2 and some as 12w6v2-D4. Is there a difference or what, where does the -d4 come from ?

It stands for "Dual 4 Ohm" (impedance).
