The only way I know to turn it of is by pressing the play/pause button.
and sometimes with just a little click it turns on.
Like when I was in this party I took my Ipod out and it was out of battery, it was on.

And also how could I change the name of the Ipod?

My parents are stressing me out about this. they say that they are not going to reuse their memory card for their Olympus Digital Camera. THey have an XD M - 1GB memory card and i told them that buying a new card instead of reusing their old one is a waste of money... Just wanted to see if anyone agrees with me or my parents and and if so what is the benefit of buying a new one every time...thanks

I need to find name and address of the person through his cell phone. There are many sites you can type the cell phone and get the info but they charge. Do you know any site which provides that for free?

I'd never heard this before, but my mother said that you have three days to get out of a contract. The reason I ask is that I signed a contract on Saturday for a cell phone plan and the service is nothing like they said it would be, the phone doesn't do what they claimed it would, and I feel ripped off.

So tomorrow will be the third day. Can I get out of this legally without paying that $200 fee?

I have a DCM 15 inch 250watt RMS subwoofer in my dorm room. The problem is that the floors are concrete (with epoxy clear coat) and so they are really smooth and hard. The subwoofer has so much power that it literally dances around the room. (despite the fact that it weighs a ton) I cut out a chunk of carpet and taped it down to the floor to place the sub on, however i believe i'm losing a lot of the bass and it's not really secured very well. I thought about maybe attaching rubber to the feet of the sub, but not sure if even that would help. Any ideas?

We have 7 or 8 DVD players-and all, even when new, Hang Up on a frame, freeze up, start-stop, etc. What would cause this? Take them to the repair shop, they find nothing wrong.

Playing DVDs of movies recorded in 16:9 aspect I find that some will only play in that aspect on a 4:3 aspect screen with black bars top and bottom. Switching to a 16:9 ("wide") screen, merely stretches the image horizontally resulting in a badly distorted image. The full height of the 16:9 screen is not used. Why and how can I tell which DVDs behave this way and which will actually play on the full 16:9 screen?

I just received a new Motorola L6 phone. I reset the master settings because it was making me turn on speaker phone to be able to hear during a call. Unfortunately that did not work. Whenever I answer a call in order to be able to hear the person calling, I have to turn speaker phone on. Is that just how this phone works or can this be changed?

Considering switching from Cingular to T-Mobile and don't know anyone with this service in my area. Was wondering how their service/reception is here. Do you have a good or bad experience to share and aren't in my area? Any input/personal experiences to help me make my decision would be appreciated!
