The 700P is a Palm based operating system
The 700WX is a Windows Mobile 5.0 based Operating system.

700p = http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?p=976
700wx = http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?p=811

They are both great devices and the hardware is nearly identical.
The resolution on the P is better then the WX for the fact that Windows Mobile cannot support that high a resolution yet.

They are both great, but the choice is your on what is in your needs.
I have the Palm os (700p), I have had Windows devices before and did not want to try them again.
