Purchase something like Skype in. Use skypein to block certain phone numbers. Forward the calls from your cell phone to skype. Blocked callers will hear a busy signal. It's not a free option.. but.. it's the only other option aside from changing numbers.

I'm afraid all you can do is change your number & forward it on to the people you trust not to pass it on to the person harrassing you. Otherwise, just keep it switched off or ask your friends to have their number sending on so that you know who is calling & simply not answer the private numbers. You can also contact the phone company & have a trace put on your phone. Even if this person calling you has their number sending off, there is still evidence of it on the phone companies end. By involving the phone company, you are taking the right steps to have someone later charged especially if your phone company have written letters to this person informing them of their wrong doings. The laws have changed alot so people, like yourself, who are recieving harrassing & constant calls can actually make a stand. Even if this person stops for a while & starts up again later, you have the right to take legal action so long as the phone companies have the records of the calls & you have made a report with the police. Its a horrid thing to have to go through to think you have to change your details & lose contact but there are laws in place to help you. Best of luck to you :o)

Depends on your carrier. If you have Verizon, you can temporarily suspend the service and it will retain your number. But it will still go to voicemail. If you terminate your service, you have about 24 hours access to reclaim that number. It will go to an error message. Either way - it is an all or nothing kind of thing - you can't block calls from one person. Your best bet is to either talk to the police and or contact your carrier. If someone is bothering you and you both have the same carrier, they may be able to help you. Good luck.

The best way to do it is to contact your SP, call the customer care center and tell them about whats going on with you. Tell them the number of that guy and inform that he is creating trouble for you... they will certainly threaten him with a call that if he keeps on doing this they will block him... thats what I did when one of my friend was troubling me.
