We have surround sound. It is driving me crazy. It is connected to our DVD player. Came as one whole system. My problem is the sound. We have to turn it up to hear what people are saying but the music is so loud that it almost blows your eardrums out. If we turn it down you can't hear what people are saying. Does anyone know how we would make the music and words come out at the same decible? ANY help is appreciated. Thank you

Edit: It's a kawasaki (sp?) if that helps. The instruction booklet does not talk about this problem at all. Again thanks for any help.

I am hoping to buy a new camcorder soon.
Would like to be able to shoot, download to computer and "edit" before final copy of dvd.
Some of my filming will take place over a long period of time/weeks. Is there a unit that will allow you to change "work" in mid-stream? Budget allows about 250.00 Thanks a million!
What is the difference between "hi-8" and the new mini-dvd? Can you download the hi-8 and edit it first???
