Solar panels but it would not be enough for your T.V. to run for long.

Auther D sounds like he knows what he's talking about.

I have no idea what you would do to create from scratch for a solar power system, but I think they have everything you need at Radio Shack. Here's the stuff you can get there:

Youll need solarcells. One inch solarcells for about a dollar or two each.

You'll need alligator clips to connect to your battery; three dollars for a bag of them.

You'll need some wire and some wire connectors. A couple of dollars.

A booklet explaining solar energy. There is a really cool kit that explains solar energy and has fun solar energy projects for kids.
It costs 13 dollars, if your serious about this project you will learn about this stuff.

Most TVs require about 100 watts of power. This can be done with solar cells. I don't think it is practical to make a solar panel yourself. You need specialized production equipment to do this. They are easy to buy. There is a link below that shows solar panels of 160 watts and bigger.

You can buy this at just about any RV dealer in the country.
If they are not large enough check out an 'Alternative Energy' store in your area.
