yes, its very possible. You have roaming with most sprint plans but if you could be in an area that sprint doesn't have a roaming agreement with then you could be hit with a roaming charge. Usually you wont though

There's supposed to be no roaming charges with that particular plan. I'd dial *2 on your phone just to verify that you have that in place.
