. . . those of you who have so far answered my question about what an ipod is. I have read them all and actually remembered most of what you said, and impressed the dickens out of my son whom I just got through IM'ing in Iraq again this afternoon. Of course, he won't admit he's impressed, especially when I keep on talking about his broken one and asking questions, and bumbling over my ignorance verses his knowledge of the subject, without "letting the cat out of the bag" that he may get a new one when he gets home next month, a belated birthday gift and a welcome home gift. I'll be all the better prepared to get him a good one, and I do appreciate your answers. I sure hope he doesn't find out, since he's on Yahoo IM as we speak. Mum's the word!! Thanks again. Randy D.

My 98' Econoline Mark III Edition LE has a built in tv, but the H-connector dosen't work. It looks like this-

The lines are the aluminum foil and the numbers are the connectors and the line at the botom is the wire. The aluminum foil is ripped and I've replaced it with Hevey Duty Reloyds Wrap, but it won't pick up a signal... What should I do? Does it have to do with the foil, or the wire? If so, where can I get a new one?

this refers specifically to an electronics on-line purchase. Some manufacturers claim that they will not honor the warranty that normally comes with the item since it was not purchased from an "authorized" dealer. Isn't there a law that obligates the manufacturer to honor the exact terms of the warranty no matter where it was purchased (assuming it is a new, factory sealed item) ? Is there a government link to this issue?

Bought an i pod (30Gigs With video Screen) a few weeks ago and iv'e got all my music downloaded, the sound is of good clarity but i'm very dissapointed with the volume at max. I want it so much louder. When i've got symphony of destruction on i want it blasting. I'm serious, the volume capability at the moment suck's. i dont thik i'd persue photography as a profession, but im extremely interested in it as a hobby.
