My 98' Econoline Mark III Edition LE has a built in tv, but the H-connector dosen't work. It looks like this-
-------{ 9 6 ]---------
/
The lines are the aluminum foil and the numbers are the connectors and the line at the botom is the wire. The aluminum foil is ripped and I've replaced it with Hevey Duty Reloyds Wrap, but it won't pick up a signal... What should I do? Does it have to do with the foil, or the wire? If so, where can I get a new one?

The line should be between the 9 and the 6.

Whatever tore the foil probably broke a wire. Give the dealership a call, they can put you in touch with a technician that can help diagnose what's going on with your entertainment system...

I'm not sure about the wiring...what I suggest is trying the manufacturer's website for troubleshooting tips...if the site doesn't offer that service try running a search for troubleshooting help...this worked for me when I had wiring issues for both my stereo and head lights...I was able to fix the problem myself for just a few dollars...good luck.
