. . . those of you who have so far answered my question about what an ipod is. I have read them all and actually remembered most of what you said, and impressed the dickens out of my son whom I just got through IM'ing in Iraq again this afternoon. Of course, he won't admit he's impressed, especially when I keep on talking about his broken one and asking questions, and bumbling over my ignorance verses his knowledge of the subject, without "letting the cat out of the bag" that he may get a new one when he gets home next month, a belated birthday gift and a welcome home gift. I'll be all the better prepared to get him a good one, and I do appreciate your answers. I sure hope he doesn't find out, since he's on Yahoo IM as we speak. Mum's the word!! Thanks again. Randy D.
