I have may original cassette tapes filed with great music. Is there away to conect my cassette tape to my computer and convert the tape music to mp3 typ music so that i may listen to it by my computers windows media player.

I am trying to write a program which converts the TS data from DVB-T to MPEG2 for DVD etc. but can't quite get timing info correct. I don't need to know about MPEG, just the wrappers. I know - buy a DVD recorder.... That's one way, but PC or dedicated system allows more flexability.

I have 53 running and am sure that they don't all have to be open all the time. Sometimes my computer runs so slow and I wonder if all of those processes need to be on all the time. I am just not sure what to close because when I tried to close one of them a message came up saying closing a process can cause undesired results including loss of data and system instability. The process will not be given the chance to save its state or data before it is terminated. Are you sure you want to terminate the process? Can anyone help me?

I just downloaded ICall and the service works as well as my mic and headset (the call goes out and is connected)but for some reason they can not hear me or they get alot of distortion, does anyone know how to fix this or what to do?

On the dell inspiron 1200, someone removed the xphome sticker. i know it to be the original keycode installed as it came from the factory restore function, works and validates properly and has no noticeable bugs. i tried the validation by phone but it worked automatically. the problem is Id like to actually identify the keycode and am wondering if there is any way short of expensive help or programs. any ideas fellow computer techies? thanks.

i just bought a laptop from a family friend. The default system files are in a folder named after the previous owner. in this case the account was named Ace. its bothering me and i want to basically make it like nobody else has ever owned/used it. so unless anyone knows how i can fix that, i need to reinstall windows xp and set it up myself. my question is, can i use the registration number that whoever had this comp before used? am i going to have to buy a new copy of xp?

I want to download tv shows from itunes but because i'm from outside the US it's not letting me. Can anyone let me use their account name? I'm a huge Heroes fan but i don't have tivo or anything like that to record the show, to get it off limewire it takes days and then hours to download. Please help me out.

I was trying to save a timeline that I found online because I wanted to use it in a powerpoint presentation. The problem is that when I try to locate it all I can find is bits and pieces of the pictures, but none of the words at all. I have tried cutting and pasting, saving it in different files, but same thing, it only gives me the pictures. I don't want just the text, but the entire timeline with words and pictures. How do I do that?

I have photoshop and i edited a GIF file with Image ready but it will only let me save it as .psd and I cant upload it on photobucket. tinypic. or anything and i dont know how to change it or make it to where i cant get it on my photobucket any Help? Free image hosting sites that use .psd?

i've been using ares ultra for months now and it's been working great but suddenly it won't let me download more than one file at a time. if i add more than one file to my download queue only the last file will connect and download, all the others will say 'leech paused'. even when the files do try to connect and download they're a lot slower and sometimes don't connect at all. i've checked all my settings and nothing has changed in them, i have my download limit set at 10 at a time, so i'm not sure why this is happening. the only thing i can think of is that it's some windows update that is interfering with my downloads. does anybody have any idea why this might be happening? or can you offer any advice?
