Thumbnails Problem?

when i keep thumbnails in MY COMPUTER,only the icons are appearing and the name of the drive is not appearing!i keep thumbnails by going to view and then thumbnail option.what is the problem.please help somebody.for example the c drive icon is appearing but name c drive is disappeared.

I just bough a new HP Touch smart Pc that came fully loaded with windows vista.....Only it wont allow me to upload my old printer/scanner's....photo shop....all of my old windows hardware....so what do i do? do they have a converting program? or do i have to buy a new scanner...printer...new photo software????

OK, As far as I know there is a lesser known version of XP witch is beta. I dont see why its lesser known, but people seem to say Proffesionals better, as far as i Know though thats not true. Windows Xp Media Center is well and trully better. If you run both give me your opinion. I run Home and Media Center And Media Center is obvoiously better, But whatabout PROFFESIONAL!!!

When i insert an autoplay cd then my CD drive did't open it, but when i insert simple cd without autoplay then it will open it. So, i m confuse that whether my CDdrive have some problem or my harddisk(operating system)?

I have Kodak Camera software...and NOWHERE in the software is there a section where I can enable or disable wheither or not the software starts automatically when I start Windows. I know there is a place where it shows you all the programs that startup when you log onto windows but I can't find it. Someone help...I have Windows XP if that helps.

I have a myspace account and all of a sudden I cant get the videos and music to play it gives a link to click to download macromedia and then brings me to the flashplayer 9 when I click down load it says successfully downloaded but then when I return to my account it is still not working. Also it says that my Javascript may be off if this is the problem how do I turn it on?

Is there something I can do to fix my msconfig error. I click on Start --> Run --> and then type "msconfig", and I get the following error:

" Windows cannot find 'msconfig'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and the try again."

Anyone knows how I can resolve this issue???

I have 300 GB Hard disK. Many of you advicing to install Windows XP in my new Vista computer , to divide HD in 2 Partition to save 1 Partition for XP another for Vista. So can you explain how i can divide to part , how can i divide size of GB ( How much for XP and Vista?)for both . Thanks for your helping.

i downloaded the ares p2p program but when i deleted it off my computer it went away but then it came back its not on the computer under programs but its on the toolbar on the bottom right hand side of the computer and ive tired ending the process but it does nothing can somone tell me how to get rid of it

i am trying to install window XP from a cd .....for some reason its not downloading a file driver.cab ....i m not sure this cd was working 2 days before but suddenly there is something wrong in it ..is it possible can i continue installation without it and later download from some where else ..how cud it affect the XP
