I have an older laptop with a 1.66GHz Processor, 512MB of RAM and 128MB of shared graphics (Intel GMA950). Would it be possible to run Vista on this laptop? I am prepared to do without the Aero Interface, so would i have enough memory to run the non-Aero interface without the OS itself hogging up all my system resources?

I use Office 2003 at home. I'd like to upgrade to 2007, but it's a bit pricy. Is it OK to get the teacher version, as long as I'm not using the software to make money? How can they tell if you are a teacher or student? Thanks!

it says line 18 error *********************** is undefines.

then my pc crashes and AOL says " goodbye" this happens everytime i try to look at any page/window on the internet.
Sometimes im lucky and may last about an hour before i crash. but with every new page/windopw i keep getting this message. it even happens when i try looking at AOL news.
any ideas on how i can fix this rather annoying problem.

What's so different abut windows vista??? Like what's different from XP? Do you think it will take off or does it suck and no one will use it? Now that Vista's out do all the computer sold have Vista(besides mac of course)?

My question is when I go to install Windows XP upgrade from 2000 I get a error message saying it can't find the right path for xp upgrade. It looks like Vista is gone(HooRay") but I want my XP back. I used original 2000 Professional disk first and that is what I am stuck with. I changed the boot order so cd-rom would boot first. What can I do? Thanks

Every time my bf starts up his computer, he gets the following two messages...
Windows cannot find 'C:\SCANNER\EXE16\AM.EXE'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, then click Search.

Then I click ok and get this second message;

Could not load or run 'C:\SCANNER\EXE16\AM.EXE' specified in the registry. Make sure the file exists on your computer or remove the reference to it in the registry.

Now I've ran AShampoo and a number of other proggies to try and shift any registry errors, but it ain't going nowhere. Can anyone help please?
