Please don't coment on the fact that 98 is crap I just need to know if Windows 98 came with excel peloaded in the software. Thank you!

No, Excel did NOT come with 98 (or any version of Wndows for that matter). It is a stand alone program that is also included in Microosoft Office.

There is a very good alternative to Excel as well as Microsoft Office called OPEN OFFICE and it's FREE!

Excel would have been a part of MS Office even in 1998. However, sometimes manufacturers include software and trial versions of software on the computers that they sell.

Nor windows 98, nor windows PX or vista came with excel. You have to buy it separately. Some company load some extra programs. can differ from company to company

It did not come with Excel preloaded.
