After FINALLY learning how to burn my own C.D.'s (legally) I burned 2 w/great result's and tried 4 more time's after that only to end up with blank C.D.'s! Someone said to check the properties of the burner that I use, I have window's xp and use window's media player 11. Anyway, I checked the properties and it sez all the burning space is used up!!! Is there a way to empty up that space again or can anyone tell me how to deal with this? I'm open to and thankful for ANY help/advice....signed yearning to get burning! (ha)

I just finished installing IE7 on a windows 2003 server and now it wont seem to let me get to microsoft's update website. I checked DNS already...

It ends up changing my url to http:/// and then giving me the address is not valid error.. anyone experience this before??

when i type new words into a sentence, the new characters replace those i typed before instead of inserting them into the slot i want.

example:
"i'm home."
if i want to insert the word "going" between "i'm" and "home", the word "going" will replace the word "home" and the sentence will be "i'm going".

how can i fix this problem?

I have a top level workbook that has several spreadsheets in it. Each sheet is linked to a sheet in other workbooks that are stored in locations on the network. I want to create several scenarios of this situation to study the effect that values in the linked sheets have on a particular calculation in the top level workbook. i download a video file from a forum and its a rar file when i try to play the rar video file the real player needs to download new software to play this clip and i contact the real player but the result was there is no software update available for this content. my ? is how can i play this rar file and where i get software update for real player.

Hi, I'm looking for a desktop/file searching software that can fulfill the below requirements:

- ability to search with a very accurate filesize amount like 126.3 kb instead of a filesize amount like 223 kb.

OR, if the program doesn't have this feature, then in the search results, it must be able to display the exact filesize instead of an estimated filesize.

- Supports Windows XP (Please, no Vista recommendations!)

- Able to search for many different file extensions like .png, .tiff, .xcf, .psp, .psd, .jpg/.jpeg, ,gif, etc. Or basically, the user must be able to search for all/any types of files which contain a certain filename.

- From the search results displayed, the user can select a file and right-click on it, to explore the directory the file is located in.

- Must be freeware because the software will only be used for a rather brief period of time.


Your recommendations will be much appreciated.
