In your case plain HTML

But once you have know what you are doing there is JavaScript which allows you to customize your html pages...

Then once you know what you are doing there is:
PHP, ASP, Flash / Multimedia pages, Java etc

Web page technologies are vast and the choice is yours. If you love to code then I suggest Php and if you are creative the multimedia is for you...

HTML is the basic language to develop web pages. Along with it scripting languages like VB script,Java script etc & .NET languages are of great importance.
