Hi, I'm looking for a desktop/file searching software that can fulfill the below requirements:

- ability to search with a very accurate filesize amount like 126.3 kb instead of a filesize amount like 223 kb.

OR, if the program doesn't have this feature, then in the search results, it must be able to display the exact filesize instead of an estimated filesize.

- Supports Windows XP (Please, no Vista recommendations!)

- Able to search for many different file extensions like .png, .tiff, .xcf, .psp, .psd, .jpg/.jpeg, ,gif, etc. Or basically, the user must be able to search for all/any types of files which contain a certain filename.

- From the search results displayed, the user can select a file and right-click on it, to explore the directory the file is located in.

- Must be freeware because the software will only be used for a rather brief period of time.

Your recommendations will be much appreciated.
Thank you!

One of the main advantages of desktop search programs is that search results come up in a few seconds, much faster than was possible with previous tools such as Windows XP's search companions. A variety of desktop search programs are available; see this list for examples.
