After FINALLY learning how to burn my own C.D.'s (legally) I burned 2 w/great result's and tried 4 more time's after that only to end up with blank C.D.'s! Someone said to check the properties of the burner that I use, I have window's xp and use window's media player 11. Anyway, I checked the properties and it sez all the burning space is used up!!! Is there a way to empty up that space again or can anyone tell me how to deal with this? I'm open to and thankful for ANY help/advice....signed yearning to get burning! (ha)

Make sure that the items you have already burned aren't being held in memory. Open the My Computer window and click on your CD drive (make sure there isn't a CD in it first) are there any folders showing up, there shouldn't be any and if one shows up it is probably the things you have already burned and safe to delete.

Also make sure you are using a blank CD. and that you are not trying to put more on it than it can hold.

If windows is saying that your space is used up and there is nothing in memory, you most likely are trying to cram to much onto one CD.

im unclear as to what specifically our burning but a cd has limited space. xp also has a burn program from roxio that doesnt need media player 11 at all. i would need more information to help you with player but what you can try is a simple drag and drop. select all the files to be copied and move them to to our copier drive using the edit functions on the top of the screen. when you click on your copier drive after you should get the roxio writer copy function to come up and xp will copy them automatically.
