how can i start nfs carbon without the disc?

i have the game installed ut i lost the disc so i cant start the game, is there a way of starting the game without the need for the cd?

use a program like alcohol 120 to make an image of the disc, mount this image into the virtual drive and play!

No, even if you copy the disk it wont work because of the protection. I had the same thing happen and had to fork out more money for another copy.
