I put a blank CD in. I open my CD creator software, and I choose a "Make Data CD" project. I paste all of the MP3 files I want to burn. And I click the "Burn" button.

When my disc is done, the computer sees and plays it just fine, but a CD player in my car won't play it, even though it does play other MP3 CDs. It doesn't reject it with an error, but only sees one track on that CD, and plays it, but no sound comes out.
I am lost.
What should I try next? Is it possible that something is wrong with my writer? Maybe I should try different CD-writing software?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Stupid question, I'm sure...but I downloaded a theme that basically puts black writing on a black background. Not the easiest to read toolbars or things. Is there an alternate route to reset the theme back to the original settings so I can read things again?

Without obviously copying it all out. Besides that would take hours. I've been writing down quite alot of ideas for my job and saving them as draft txt messages,memos, and tasks but copying them all out again would take ages. Hi. I'm using an Excel file as the data source for a mail merge into Word. It's a letter, and I have a field for the recpeients' first names. However on the address I only want to use the first letter of their name, e.g. if the first name field is Oli, I only want to use the O.

This is as I want to use the full name later on. Any ideas if this can be done?
