You can download older versions of Java, that may work better from this page http://www.oldversion.com/program.php?n=java
You said you have 80mb Hard Drive which is low, I hope you mean 80GB
Also you said you have window pack 2, I hope you mean Windows XP SP2.
The word Beta is letting you know that it is in testing..and so there is probably errors, when it is not beta most of the errors will have been fixed.

I think it uses java so make sure you have that installed.
