You can do it in the following ways:

If you know the name of keylogger software, try to find that software name's folder in program files. If you find it there, go in it and try to find uninstall.exe file, once found double click it and it will remove that keylogger.

or

You can check which processes are running by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Delete and then pressing task manager in the window which is opened and then click processes and find out that particular service and stop it.

And one more thing you can do is that you can stop that particular keylogger software from starting invisibly on windows startup. You can do it by clicking start -> run and then typing msconfig and then click Startup tab and find that softwares name and uncheck it. It will not start in the startup.

Hope these steps solve your problem.

Sounds like something that you dont' want to remove. I would do a system restore to an earlier period.. To where it was working properly. If that doesn't work. I would then use your windows CD to repair what ever problem(s) your keylogger is having.

Hey it's working properly!

Seriously, check the manufacturer. If they won't say, try spybot or adaware or windows defender; one of them might consider it spyware and remove it. Next option: look for it in the registry or msconfig and try to disable it (there are too many choices for me to be more specifice). Last choice: if it wasn't too long ago, do a windows xp restore to a prior date. All new programs will need to be reinstalled, but newer data will be OK.
