You have to hack the system and gain admin privileges.

The easiest way to do this is to crash micros**t windows and then log in using the System login. System is the same as root in Linux but micros**t won't give you access to log in as system, so you need to crash the stupid software to do it.

Once you are logged in as system you can do anything including toast the domain you are on, which is why micros**t won't let people log in as system.

Do a web search on how to log in as system. If you can't follow the simple tutorials on how to do this then you really have no business messing with it. Be advised that some malicious hackers have created websites that will pretend to be a tutorial on something but that really are remote hacking your system and downloading viruses and trojans. If you get on one of these you will toast your system and you won't learn anything.

You could also download the software and build a Bart PE bootable CD and reset the admin password. That works too and is much less dangerous.

You could also give micros**t a couple of grand to purchase a winternals.com ERD CD which will also let you reset the local admin password.

You might want to pull the lan cable when you do these things.

Well, at work, I wanted to install some programs. Some just will not install because they are intergrating themselves with Windows in a way that only admins can access for some reason.

For example, when trying to install a very simple and small movie player onto a work computer, it may install and work fine, but it won't let you install any codecs which allow one to view different movie types since they go to a place where only admin is allowed.

Some programs will install everything into one folder and that's all it needs, these will install without admin privledges and work fine. I tried to install Adobe Illustrator at work, but it wouldn't allow me. So, what on earth is Illustrator trying to install into admin areas? I do not know, but what I did was instead of installing the program, I copied the folder from my home computer where I already had it installed, and pasted it from disc to my work computer. It works. The only difference is that the help files are not directly linked to from the Help dropdown on the toolbar. That was it. I could still access help files directly in their folder though. So, it seems that some programs are just accessing admin areas for no better reason than to add a few little things here and there that will not affect the runnings of the actual progam. On Macs programs are all in one folder, not spread out like in moronic Windows. People should make programs that ask you at the install, do you have admin privledges? If you do not, would you like to install the Non-Admin Access version of the program all into one folder (the difference being...)? It's very annoying especially when one wants to watch movies at work, ha ha ha...

If you want to hack around admin access, then that's what you'll have to do, but if your admin tech guy is doing his job, he will likely be alerted to any intrusion. I had a virus on one of my home discs and the telephone rang after I put it into my work computer. Tech guy took over my computer from where ever he was, and fixed things. They are out there.

No, That is why there is admin privileges cuz then the kids at home will not load up all the porn sites, as a matter a fact, so the workers on the job will not do that also.

Not possible and if you do not have admin privilege, more than likely it's because you are not supposed to.
