All I get is a black screen with a large arrow and it keeps asking for me to put disk into the drive. I have the disk in the drive but it keeps telling me to put it in. I remove the disk and put it back in and it just keeps telling me the same thing to do. What's up with this?

Whenever i try playing movie through quicktime it sounds choppy and disturbed, i have recently installed and uninstalled winamp but havent really touched anything else, i tried uninstalling quicktime and then re installing it but nothing has changed, i even tried installing and re installing itunes but still nothing. anyone have any ideas? all my other audio files work fine, and my .mov files play in windows media player the latest version but they wont work when theyre played using quictime

I know this description is long but please help. About a yr ago I got a message from Microsoft that I needed to update on Microsoft office. Thinking this was just an update to the 2003 professional I clicked ok. It installed a new office. I thought cool, I got it free. Worked on it for a month then I got a message that to continue using it I had to purchase because my trial had expired. I didnt know it was a trial, so I never purchased it. I reverted to using Word Perfect as I was not using any word program much anyway. I am starting a new work from home job that requires Microsoft office. So I uninstalled the new version, thinking it would revert back to the old version. Wrong! Now I dont have any version. Can anyone help me with what I should do? For the time being I am converting email attachments to Word Perfect, but that created a new problem in that every attachment I open auto converts to Word Perfect now. Any help on chnaging this option would be greatly appreciated also.

They seem to f*ck everything up. Internet Explorer doesn't work with a load of sites and Vista won't run half your applications properly.

Just get yourself a Mac. They work.

Im useing Nero 7 Ultra Edition on a Dell Dimension 3000 Intel Celeron D 330, 2.66GHz,533FSB,256KB, 512MB DDR RAM, 40GB Hard Drive (7200 rpm) 16x DVD-ROM. I'll click on Nero startsmart, set it to DVD, then i'll choose Photo and Video, then click on Make your own DVD-Video then Nero Vision will open, i can add video files but it will only let me Burn to CD and not a DVD, at the bottom right hand side of Nero Vision where you can change the DVD it should have "DVD-1 (8cm), DVD and DVD 9" well i dont get that i just have 3 different CD options and no DVD options ? please help as i want to burn my own picture slide show on to a dvd to watch on a DVD player ? thank you for taking time out just to read this.

Or is there any free S/w that lists and deletes obsolete files? Some s/w like "registrysmart" once downloaded freely make a list, but ask to be upgraded to delete the obsolete files.

I had my hard drive replaced alittle while ago and they put 98 in and a friend of mine put in windows xp 2003.I haven't got the cd for 98 neither does my friend but I do have the cd for windows xp.When I turn on my computer 98 and windows xp comes up and I have to high light windows xp It is just a pain to go through of all that can someone please help me.

I BROUGHT AND INSTALLED THE NEW VISTA HOME PEMIUM EDITION,I WAS PREVIOUSLY RUNNING WINDOWS XP.

Please can anyone help,since i have installed vista on my computer it has gone crazy,Its missing devices that i had??trouble with msn connection??internet connection??settings have been and changed deleted.I have tryed to restore to factory settings,Its like i carnt set or install XP back now,

Before I am using PowerPoint 2003. When I am using color typewriter as an animation to my texts, the texts, no matter how long comes out smoothly, then when I used PowerPoint 2007, and use color typewriter as my animation, the animation takes to long to come out. The letters instead of coming out smoothly per letter, they come out this way - one letter first then hangs for a brief moment followed by two to three letters coming out at once. The texts no longer come out smoothly especially when the I am presenting cases in long sentences. Do I need to add up more memory?
