Have you guys thought why Microsoft is giving away so many free copies of Windows Vista and FREE upgrades? I don't really see much difference other than the stuff Apple has on their computer .... Apple even has a new commercial making fun of all the security on Vista! Something is not right.. Lets Talk!

i downloaded morpheus a couple months ago and everything was fine but then my boyfriend uninstalled this ...then i downloaded it again only this time there was a new version, i guess, because most of these songs don't download because they dont have a lisence...how can i get the old version to download?????

I have a laptop running Windows XP Pro and a desktop running Windows Vista Ultimate. I have run into so many problems on the desktop running Vista. One of them is I am a big audio person and I can no longer sort and categorize my music with Channels or Audio Frequency, they added a whole bunch of new details but they took out these important ones I had why would they do that? Instead now they added Orientation and IM address just to name some details you can sort your files by. Also the stupid security warning that pops up when you open and install files on Vista is very annoying I don't know how much longer I can put up with it. I havn't really had major problems on my Windows XP machine but vista...wow... did you know that alot of printers and cameras still don't work for Vista? For example at Fry;s Electronis a big computer store here in the West coast ...I checked all the built in cameras on the HP laptops and none of them work and I checked the device manager and they all failed

What I am wondering is that Is it possible for me to get into to gameing with out knowing about programming? I have a great idea for a video game ( It would best work for PS3 , because it would really need to use that power...or at least i think) . I have written out a story and filled in most of the plot hole.
I have an idea about what it should look and feel like, but that is all I know about gaming.
Is it possible for me to bring my game to life? How would I do this? First step?

i've been downloading some of my music from myspace and other websites, for a while now and it always works out fine. but recently when i tried to download it, it opens the file up in windows media player and won't play at all..? does anyone know how stop the windows media player from coming up and going back to the way it use to be? please help. 8)

I got into a Windows vs. Linux discussion not too long ago. I took the Linux side of the argument. And in the middle of the discussion, he asked me, "If Linux is so great, why aren't more people using it?"

I came up with a quick answer there, and later gave him a longer answer once I had a chance to think about it, but I wanted to know what you thought.

Every time I open up WMP10 it gives me an error with setup_wm.exe. I close it. 15 minutes later it pops up again and subsequently every 15 minutes.

I try uninstalling WMP10 but it gives me the same error with setup_wm.exe and no uninstallation.

I try deleting setup_wm.exe from the WMP10 folder but everytime I open WMP , it creates a new file and the error screen pops up again.

It seems WMP tries to open up setup_wm.exe every once in a while and there's something wrong with the file. I already trying a brand new installation but the same error happens.

Help, what do I do?

I am looking for the best music/movie/video download software out there. I want it to be legal but I don't want to have you pay per track. I would rather pay a monthy fee. Also it is very important that it is very safe in terms of virus/spyware/malware and the such. What you do recommend?? I will greatly appreciate any help and advice. Thanks!!
