sketchup is the best 3d design softwsre i have ever come accross.
sketch up 5 costs but there is a free version known as google sketch up or something. Find your house on google earth and export that sattelite image to google sketchup, mark out your area of your kitchen and then you can start constructing!! easy peasy...

ARES. Go here to download the program http://aresgalaxy.sourceforge.net/ when you do, go to search, select software and write the name of the program you need ares will look if someone in its network has it and if they do you will be able to download it.
