Im useing Nero 7 Ultra Edition on a Dell Dimension 3000 Intel Celeron D 330, 2.66GHz,533FSB,256KB, 512MB DDR RAM, 40GB Hard Drive (7200 rpm) 16x DVD-ROM. I'll click on Nero startsmart, set it to DVD, then i'll choose Photo and Video, then click on Make your own DVD-Video then Nero Vision will open, i can add video files but it will only let me Burn to CD and not a DVD, at the bottom right hand side of Nero Vision where you can change the DVD it should have "DVD-1 (8cm), DVD and DVD 9" well i dont get that i just have 3 different CD options and no DVD options ? please help as i want to burn my own picture slide show on to a dvd to watch on a DVD player ? thank you for taking time out just to read this.

You do not appear to have a DVD burner, only a player. You cannot burn a DVD using a CDRW drive.

If your drive is not a DVD burner it will only allow you to burn to CD.

If it is only a picture slide show then minidvd may work fine so long as your dvd player can play it. Otherwise try to make vcd or svcd.

Yes I know what you mean i use cyber link it is cool but many people i know have trouble with Nero my computer come with it i never use it there are many on the market to do the job try a few try free ones till you find one you are comfortable with Dave
