utorrent is downloading between 10 and 20 kbps. this is supposed to be a high speed torret. bearshare downloads between 500kb and 1mps, whats the deal?

i have an AMD athlon and an Nvidia GEforce graphics card. If both civ4 and google earth are installed on my pc neither work (computer reboots itselfor sometimes waits for me to do it) civ4 on its own works most but not all of the time. Google earth works for longer without civ4 installed.

pcpitstop and all the tests I know say there is no problem.
Any ideas?

should i open with adobe 6 or will something else work better (i have windows media player, or i was going to download winmp) or do I need to download netscape navigater to open the file....then it will play??? it doesn't work in windows media player...keep getting error that no support for file type?

any help would be appreciated !!!

Ok I have like 35Gb of music and need a decent jukebox and hopefully one that lets u type the artist name out and not take the first letter typed only

please dont suggest the following for the statd reasons

Itunes: Doesnt add all tracks to libary

Yahoo Jukebox: Rubbish

Windows media player: the worst, looks bad and user unfriendly

Sliverjuke: Cant search through the libary typing out the artist, goes to first letter typed

I lost a CD key to a game i have. the game is still installed on my computer. i have tried looking for it on my computer. i have used a program called belarc advisor,a nd i have looked in the regitry editor and i have not found the CD key.

I want to know if there is a program that will tell me the CD key of a program installed on my computer.

I have a sony video cam and can save the digital video to my computer in an .avi format. I have software that can compress to MPEG to put the video onto CD but I want to put stuff onto DVD and cant see how to get it to a format that will play on a DVD. Do I need a new bit of software for this? If so can you recommend anything? Thanks

Ok, so I has an Outlook Express account which I used a lot on my computer, and then my brother got a new computer and replaced the old one, taking everything he thought we needed onto the new computer. I didn't think about it at the time but I want my Outlook Express account back, and I don't know what to do. Is there a way I can configure the account on the new computer? I know I can still log in with it on webmail.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It happens in IE and Firefox when I try to load http://games.yahoo.com/console/dailyjigsaw , and it started happening after I defragmented my HDD. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Shockwave, but the problem remains.

How can I fix this please?

Okay... So when I go to windows update I get the following message...

"To install updates from this website, you must be logged on as an administrator or a member of the Administrators group on your computer. If you use Windows XP, you can see if you are an administrator by going to User Accounts in Control Panel.

And I have checked numerous times and I am administrator of my computer, the only one. I've tried restarting my computer. Can anybody help me fix this so I can update my computer?
