I Like to extract a single frame from a video I have made and make a Mpeg picture that I can e-mail and I can put in my yahoo photo album.
Besides recommending a some media software, also say if you have done it what the basic steps are to be followed.

You can try PRINT SCREEN.
if that doesn't work. There are a lot of free media players (dvd players usually have it) that will also play mpg files. that have an screen capture option.

Blaze dvd lets you take frame by frame pic's and i think its free.

try using movie maker then import or export so you can
